The objective of the AI4EU Call for Solutions is to select the best 41 Solution Providers that address one of the Challenges and together with the Challenge Owner enter a 6-months Support Program receiving funding for solving the specific challenge. The deadline for submissions is on 29th April 2021 at 13:00 CEST.

From the 9th of April 2021, the LINKS Foundation will start a project of collaboration with CINECA (one of the largest scientific computing centers in Europe, chosen to host one of the three pre-exascale solutions - the supercomputer Leonardo) and the French company Pasqal in the field of quantum calculation and its applications of industrial and scientific interest.

1st March 2021: CINECA offers the most advanced and mature quantum computing technologies: D-wave and Pasqal, as well as access to installed quantum emulators via ISCRA-C calls. In support of the scientific community that will use quantum computing resources, CINECA has also launched the Quantum Computing Lab and the Quantum Computing Technological Observatory for companies.

On 1 January 2021 the European project e-SHyIPS was launched, which involves 7 European countries working together to define the new guidelines for an effective introduction of hydrogen in maritime passenger transport sector, and to boost its adoption within the global and EU strategy for a clean and sustainable environment, towards the accomplishment of a zero-emission navigation scenario.

Palaiseau (France) and Bologna (Italy), January 27th 2021 - Pasqal today announced that the Italian inter-university consortium CINECA - one of the world's most important supercomputing centers - will give access to Pasqal's neutral atoms quantum computing technology to its members through Pasqal's quantum cloud.
