Updates about the incoming Galileo100

Dear Users,

this is an update about the status of the new HPC Cineca System, Galileo100.

In the last week we have completed the deployment of the MPI, Openstack and Ceph nodes planned to be installed on phase 1 and the network configuration. We are setting up the benchmarks of the cluster to measure the real computational performances.
We also started the operations to synchronize the data expected to be copied from Galileo to the new system.
Operations are on schedule so we expect to open Galileo100 in pre-production phase at the end of May.
