Important updates for Marconi KNL, DAVIDE and Marconi100 HPC clusters

Dear Users,

This is to inform you that the next accelerated partition of Marconi (Marconi100) will be installed soon and this imply that both Marconi-KNL and DAVIDE clusters must close their production phase.

To this end, Marconi-KNL and DAVIDE will be stopped and shut down on January 15th 2020. 

Marconi100 hardware installation will start soon after and is expected to be completed at the end of February 2020. After that date, benchmarks and acceptance tests will be perfomend, followed by final configuration for production.

We plan to start Marconi100 pre-production phase around March 15th, and to open it in full production around end of March.
