Singularity available on Marconi-A1 and Galileo systems

Dear User,

we are happy to inform you that Singularity (https://singularity.lbl.gov/) - the Container Technology designed for HPC - is now available on MARCONI-A1 and GALILEO systems (http://www.hpc.cineca.it/content/hardware) and can be used to execute containerized applications with high performance. Thanks to this, you can either run your own containers or use those available on the Singularity or the Docker Hub. Basic instructions on how to build and run containers on Cineca resouces can be found at the link https://wiki.u-gov.it/confluence/display/SCAIUS/Container.
