Galileo production areas

Dear Users,

We have noticed that some users run their jobs on GALILEO using the $HOME space for I/O operations.

This has an effect on the home filesystem, and may cause a slowdown on its performance with consequences on the work of all the users on the cluster.

We kindly suggest you to use your $CINECA_SCRATCH and $WORK areas instead,  as they are optimized for best I/O performance and designed to be the actual production areas.
