The visit of Spack developers Culpo and Stoppels ended with success!

The HPC staff of CINECA thanks the Spack developers Massimiliano Culpo and Harmen Stoppels for their visit at our premises in Casalecchio di Reno (Bologna). During the two-day Spack event on February 13-14, Culpo and Stoppels delivered a comprehensive tutorial course followed by a mini-hackathon on Spack, the package manager for software configuration and installation on multiple platforms. 

The event was held in hybrid mode, and involved members of the EuroHPC projects ADMIRE and MaX, which are commited to integrate their software stack into the Spack manager. We are pleased and thank for their enthusiastic participation!
