The 14th Call for Proposal for PRACE Project Access is now open until 21 November 2016, 10:00 CET. It is now possible to submit a proposal for PRACE under the defined guidelines, and apply for one of the supercomputers provided by 5 PRACE hosting members: BSC - Spain, CINECA - Italy (MARCONI), CSCS - Switzerland, GCS - Germany and GENCI - France.
In total PRACE can offer more than 2000 million compute core hours which is 3 times more than in previous calls and now offers a cumulated peak performance of more than 50 Petaflops.
Scientists and researchers from academia and industry can apply for access to PRACE resources.
Industrial users can apply if they have their head offices or substantial R&D activity in Europe.
Proposals can be based on a 12-months schedule, or, for Multi-year Projects, on a 24- or 36-months schedule.
Additionally:
0.5% of the total resources available for this call is reserved for Centres of Excellence (CoE) as selected by the EC under the E-INFRA-5-2015 call for proposals.
