PRACE 13th Call for Project Access: now open

The 13th Call for Proposal for Project Access will be open from 7 March until 1 April 2016, 17:00 CET.
Proposals can be based on a 12-months schedule, or, for Multi-year Projects, on a 24- or 36-months schedule. The allocation of awarded resources is made for 1 year at a time with provisional allocations awarded for the 2nd and 3rd year.
The 13th Call will offer resources on:
- MARCONI, an Lenovo System supercomputer operated by CINECA
- MareNostrum, an IBM System x iDataPlex supercomputer operated by BSC
Additionally:
0.5% of the total resources available for this call is reserved for Centres of Excellence (CoE) as selected by the EC under the E-INFRA-5-2015 call for proposals.
Resources will be equally distributed among the CoEs.

Important dates:
- Opening date: 7 March 2016, 13:30 CET
- Closing date: 1 April 2016, 17:00 CET
- Response of applicants to reviews: 25 May - 1 June 2016
- Anticipated allocation decisions: last 2 weeks of July 2016
- Allocation start date of awarded proposals: 1 September 2016
- Allocation end date of award: 31 August 2017
