Cineca becomes a Full Member of the BDVA

The intelligent use of data will revolutionize decision making in businesses, sciences, and society in the future. Value creation from Big Data could become the major driver of the European digital economy. To put Europe at the forefront of this development, there is need for a strong and vibrant data-driven innovation ecosystem in Europe.

Big Data Value Association (BDVA) is a fully self-financed non–for-profit organisation with objectives to boost European BIG DATA VALUE research, development and innovation and to foster a positive perception of BIG DATA VALUE. The main role of the Big Data Value Association will be providing the Big Data Value strategic research agenda (SRIA) and its regular updates, defining and monitoring the metrics of the cPPP and joining the European Commission in the cPPP partnership board.
The Members of the BDVA comprise small and large European organisation from public and private sector of business, industry, academia and research that support the objectives of the Big Data Value Association.

The BDVA General Assembly unanimously approved Cineca Full Membership of the BDVA.
