Reminder of Work storage upgrade on Leonardo November 13th and possible instabilities November 14th

  • Deprecated function: Optional parameter $item declared before required parameter $complete_form is implicitly treated as a required parameter in include_once() (line 1439 of /prod_service02/web-prod/hpc-web/includes/bootstrap.inc).
  • Deprecated function: unserialize(): Passing null to parameter #1 ($data) of type string is deprecated in css_injector_init() (line 53 of /prod_service02/web-prod/hpc-web/sites/all/modules/css_injector/css_injector.module).

Dear users,

this is to remind you that an urgent firmware upgrade is scheduled for Monday, November 13th. The work filesystem will be unmounted on login and compute nodes at 8 am and will be back in the afternoon of the same day. Please avoid accessing this filesystem in such time window; all running jobs and interactive processes accessing it at the start of the operations will be killed. The home and scratch filesystems will remain fully operative.

Additionally, an intervention on the network scheduled for Tuesday, November 14th may cause instabilities on the cluster. Please be aware that your job may experience slowdowns, although we expect that the operation will be transparent to users.
