Reminder of MARCONI's programmed downtime and update about budget linearization

Dear users,

This is to remind you that on Tuesday, July 24th MARCONI will experience some period of downtime due to maintenance operations. The downtime will start at 08.30 and is supposed to end before 16.30 pm. You will receive an update about when the system will be operative again.

In occasion of the maintenance operations, it will be applied a patch to the current budget linearization system, that will fix a bug about the distribution of fair-shares in relation to the monthly quota of cpu hours assigned to each project. We expect a better reaction in terms of waiting times for accounts that have many hours left to consume during the month. Any feedback will be appreciated.
