Dear Users,
we are happy to announce that the new GALILEO100 system is now available in the pre-production phase.
All the GALILEO projects that were active on April 1st, 2021 have been migrated to the new infrastructure GALILEO100. The data in the $WORK and $HOME directories have been migrated as well. All the users with active projects are able to login and run their jobs.
To login to GALILEO100 please use the front-end: *login.g100.cineca.it*.
The $HOME, $SCRATCH and the work storage areas are available for users, and the scheduler (SLURM) is configured for batch submissions.
In the first period, the accounting of the consumed budget will not be active.
The production environment relies on job submission to the SLURM scheduler (as all the other CINECA clusters).
In principle, binaries generated on Galileo should work on GALILEO100, but we strongly recommend you to reinstall all you software applications since on GALILEO100 there is a different Operating System (Centos 8.3).
A preliminary GALILEO100 User Guide is available at the link:

Best regards,
