Marconi100: power capping and performance loss on Sunday 19th

Dear Users,

we have been informed that a second national electricity external operation has been scheduled on Sunday, June 19th, requesting us a reduction in the overall power consumption for M100 cluster. To stay below the requested power load, on Sunday a portion of M100 nodes will be shut down and the power capping will be enforced on the GPU of the rest of the cluster. The operations are expected to start at 7.30am and to finish at around 17:00. The power reduction will apply for the entire duration of the operations. In this time range you may experience longer queueing times and some performance losses for GPU intensive applications, but no jobs will be killed.
