MARCONI: migration from PBSPro to SLURM scheduler - update

Dear Users,

this is to remind you that the migration to the new scheduler SLURM on Marconi will take place next January, 24th, and a testing environment is already available on a limited number of Marconi nodes. We are now proceeding in the definition, on these preliminary nodes, of the production queues which will finally serve the entire cluster, and in the removal of the current partitions; we expect the operation to be concluded in the next hours. Once defined, you can check the list of the available partitions with the command "sinfo".

All relevant info, as well as the links to the full documentation, are contained in a document on our on-line repository.
