Dear Users,
this is to inform you that in the next two weeks the g100_usr_interactive partition on Galileo100 will undergo a gradual reduction of the available nodes with GPUs and a limit to the number of resources per user. Those of you that are running important projects requiring the usage of the GPUs of the g100_usr_interactive partition can ask an access to our new HPC cluster Leonardo. For such kind of requests, please send an email to superc@cineca.it
The changes described above will allow us to prepare the new service based on Jupyter notebooks on dedicated Galileo100 nodes, giving users the possibility to access computational resources on Galileo100 via web browser, with several different tools like Jupyter notebooks, in-browser terminal, Visual Studio Code and to manage batch jobs directly from a web interface.
The new service will be available on May 2023. In the forthcoming weeks, we will send you more detailed information.
Best Regards,
User Support @ CINECA
