GALILEO100 opening in pre-production and GALILEO shut down

Dear Users,

this is to inform you that GALILEO will be definitively turned off on Monday, August the 2nd.

All the GALILEO projects that were active on April 1st, 2021 will be migrated to the new infrastructure GALILEO100. The data in the $WORK and $HOME directories have been migrated as well.

We will open GALILEO100 in pre-production on Monday, August 9th. All the users with active projects will be able to login and run their jobs.

Data on the old GALILEO filesystems (home, scratch and WORK areas) will remain available for several months, mounted on the GALILEO100 login nodes.

A preliminary GALILEO100 document is on our website: https://www.hpc.cineca.it/content/documentation. It will be soon replaced by the complete GALILEO100 guide dedicated chapter.
