Galileo: stop of visualization services (RCM, EnginFrame) and archive queue on October 12

Dear Users,

an upgrade of the NVIDIA drivers on the login nodes and a modification of their X server configuration have been scheduled for next Monday, October 12th, at 10 am. The operation will require:

- the stop of RCM and EnginFrame services (at 10 pm of Oct 11)

- the stop of the archive queue (at 6 am of Oct 12)

- the reboot of the login nodes, front-ends included (shortly after 10 am of Oct 12). All active sessions (and connections) on the front-ends will be killed at the reboot, and the modifications to files found open at the start of the operation will be lost; hence, we invite you to save your files before the start of the operation (10 am).

The operations are expected to be complete, and all the visualization services back to production, at 11 am of Oct 12.
