$CINECA_SCRATCH cleaning procedure on GALILEO restarts today

Dear users,

this is a reminder following the news about the restart of the automatic cleaning procedure on the $CINECA_SCRATCH filesystem on GALILEO. As stated in this earlier news:

The cleaning procedure is scheduled to restart at June 24th, and will effectively begin this afternoon. All files older than 100 days will be deleted from $CINECA_SCRATCH., and this will happen again every day. The time limit will be reduced over time, until cancelation will become automatic for files older than 50 days.

We recommend you to save all your important data on filesystems more suited for archiving, like $WORK or $DRES, openable by request.
